NRA Range Safety Officer Certification

The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. To become a NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.  This certification is a must for anyone working or conducting shooting events or operations.  It is also an excellent course for anyone who visits a range as it covers procedures, standard emergency response, and the safe clearing and handling of firearms when there is a malfunction on the range.

Course Duration:  8 Hours

*Successful completion of this course will grant access to the NRA instructor portal and benefits.  This is a nationally recognized certification.
